This image is a bit hard on the eyes, lets try again, again, last try. Very interesting presentation. On the performance and monitoring side of things you REALLY should look at PCP from SGI, it's AWESOME what is can do. Far to much to go over in this short space. pmchart is a great tool for visualizing the data from it. pmie for alerting etc etc etc, it's a very compete setup.
